The disputes you’ll see

Four dispute types. Each one is won differently.

The bank decides against the reason code the dispute was filed under. Every response we send is built for that code — not a template.

01Fraud · card not present

Filed as fraud

A buyer closed on a sales call disputes six weeks later and says they never made the purchase. Often it's remorse, or a partner who didn't know about the charge.

What we argue with
  • IP and device from checkout matched to their later logins
  • Prior undisputed purchases on the same card, 120–364 days old
  • The booking record and call that led to the sale
02Service not provided

Says they never got it

The program was delivered, but there's no shipment to point to — so the bank asks for proof of delivery and a screenshot of your course platform doesn't count.

What we argue with
  • Timestamped logins with IP, after the charge
  • Modules watched, calls attended, community activity
  • Access and welcome emails, with delivery confirmation
03Not as described

Says it wasn't what was sold

They used the program, didn't get the result they wanted, and dispute it as misrepresented.

What we argue with
  • The offer as sold — sales page and call — against what was delivered
  • The deliverables they agreed to in the signed agreement
  • Their own progress messages and support history
04Cancelled recurring · not provided

Stopped paying mid-plan

Three payments into six, they decide they're done and dispute every charge at once instead of calling you. One client, several marks on your ratio.

What we argue with
  • The full schedule shown and accepted before purchase
  • Access used in every period that was billed
  • The reminders sent before each instalment

Beyond the dispute

We also fix what makes disputes hard to win.

Most sellers lose on evidence they never captured. We set up the checkout, agreements and records that make every future case winnable — and some of them never get filed at all.

Evidence written for the reason code

Every response is built for the specific code the bank filed under. A fraud claim and a not-as-described claim are won with different evidence, so they never get the same packet.

Checkout that captures proof

IP address, device ID and a tick-box acceptance of your terms, stored with a timestamp on every sale. For digital goods, the IP or device match is what beats a fraud claim.

An agreement that holds up

Payment schedule, refund window and deliverables written into the agreement the buyer actually accepts — not a policy page nobody opened.

Delivery you can prove

Logins, module progress, call attendance and community activity logged per customer, and exportable in minutes when a deadline is running.

A statement line they recognise

Your billing descriptor matched to the brand they bought from. A name they don't recognise turns happy customers into disputes.

Reminders before every instalment

A notice before each payment-plan charge, with the amount and date. It removes the 'I didn't expect this charge' dispute entirely.

Why the usual tools lose your cases

Every other tool wants a tracking number.

Chargeback software is built for people who ship boxes. You don’t ship anything — so their evidence checklist comes back empty, and the case goes out anyway.

What their tools ask for

Built for shipped goods

  • Tracking number
  • Carrier delivery scan
  • Signature on receipt
  • Shipping address match
  • Photo of the package
  • Return label never used

You don’t have a single one of these. Neither does any coach, course creator or agency.

What actually wins yours

Already sitting in your systems

  • IP address at checkout
  • Device ID or fingerprint
  • Login history with timestamps
  • Modules watched, calls attended
  • Signed agreement with the plan in it
  • Sales call recording and support thread

This is the list we build every filing from.

Find out which of those six your setup is actually capturing.

What a dispute really takes from you

The refund is the cheap part.

One dispute costs you seven different ways. The last three decide whether you still have a business.

The sale is gone

The full amount gets pulled straight back out of your account, often months after you delivered the whole thing.

100% of the ticket

And a fee on every one

Charged per dispute whether you fight it or not — and you still pay it on the ones you win.

Win or lose

Your processing rate goes up

Once you're in a monitoring programme the pricing changes: higher per-transaction rates and new monthly fees. It applies to every sale you close, not just the ones that got disputed.

On every sale

They hold back part of every sale

A rolling reserve takes a slice of every sale you close and sits on it for months. Cash collected stops meaning cash you can spend, and the gap shows up in payroll before it shows up anywhere else.

10–20% held

Customer financing dries up

Klarna, Zip and Sezzle are how a lot of high-ticket sales actually close — the buyer can't put $15k on one card, so they split it. Those providers approve sellers on dispute rate and volume, and they drop the ones whose rate climbs. Lose pay-over-time at checkout and the ticket you can close drops with it.

Your biggest tickets stop closing

They freeze the account

Payouts stop while they review you. Money keeps coming in and none of it comes out — and payroll, ad spend and contractors don't pause with it.

Up to 120 days

Or they close you and sit on the money

Termination holds your balance for months on top, and the next processor prices you as high-risk — if one takes you at all. A full order book doesn't help you when nothing can process.

90–180 days held
0.0%
The rate where it starts. Most sellers have no idea what theirs is until the email arrives.
0%
Of every sale, held back once you’re flagged. That’s your ad budget, gone.
0 days
How long they sit on it. Six months of your own cash, out of reach.

Every one of those starts with a dispute you could have won.

How it’s built

Nothing gets filed that a person hasn’t read.

Software pulls the proof out of your systems in minutes. A person reads every packet before it goes. Tools that auto-submit whatever they can scrape lose those cases — the banks notice.

Payments, logins, delivery and support pulled into a single filing, argued for the exact reason they disputed.

FAQ

Common questions

What’s your win rate?

We’ll tell you ours once we have one on your book. Quoting an industry average would be dishonest — published win rates come from ecommerce, where the evidence is a tracking number and a signature, and digital products behave nothing like that.

What we will tell you before you sign anything:

  • Which of your open disputes we think are winnable, and which aren’t.
  • The reason codes you’re getting hit with most, in plain English.
  • What’s missing from your evidence that we can’t fix retroactively.

Be sceptical of anyone quoting you a percentage before they’ve seen a single one of your cases.

What actually counts as evidence for a digital product?

This is the whole game, and it’s where most sellers are losing without knowing why. For a digital product the bank wants proof that the person who’s disputing is the person who bought, and that they got what they paid for. In practice that means:

  • IP address or device ID at checkout. For digital goods the card networks require one of these as a matching data point. Email address and account name don’t substitute. If you capture neither, the strongest category of defence is closed to you entirely.
  • Login records with timestamps and IPs. Someone logging in after the charge, from the same place they bought, is the single most persuasive thing you can put in front of an issuer.
  • Consumption data. Modules completed, calls attended, files downloaded, messages posted in the community. Hard to claim you never received something you were halfway through.
  • The acceptance record for your terms. Not the policy text — the stored record of them ticking the box, with the timestamp and IP. A link in your footer is not agreement.
  • Your support history with them. Especially anything showing they were happy, or that you offered a resolution they declined.

Most sellers have three or four of these sitting in systems they already pay for, and have never pulled them into a single filing.

Do I have to give you Stripe access?

A restricted key, scoped to disputes only. You create it inside your own dashboard and you can revoke it at any time, which ends the engagement on the spot.

  • We can read disputes and submit evidence on them.
  • We cannot see your balance, your payouts or your bank details.
  • We cannot issue a refund, move a dollar, or change your settings.
  • We cannot create other keys or add users.

On Whop it’s the same principle through their API. If you’d rather not grant access at all, we can work from exports you send us — it’s slower, and deadlines are the thing that kills cases, so we don’t recommend it.

How fast do you file?

Inside 48 hours of a dispute landing, and usually the same day. That matters more than most people realise:

  • You get a fixed window to respond, and it runs from when the dispute is filed, not from when you notice it.
  • Miss it and the case is closed against you automatically. There is no appeal for a missed deadline.
  • You get one submission. Filing something thin to beat the clock and planning to follow up is not an option — there is no follow-up.
What if you lose?

You pay nothing on that case. We only invoice on money that actually lands back in your account.

No retainer, no setup fee, no minimum, no monthly platform charge. The only way this costs you money is if it makes you money first.
